"Mr. Maya"
Details about artifact: Origin: Unknown, lest. Central America
Mr. Maya was a prized display piece at the Mountain Island Historical Society until its recent disappearance. Originally discovered on Mountain Island by a visiting UCSD Geology class, it's metallurgy footprint was odd to say the least.
Scans revealed the object to be hollow, with the surrounding wall of gold far exceeding the nominal Mohs scale numbers. Under x-ray, the hollow object displayed a dark liquid inside, appearing to be a thick, molasses like substance.
Locked away in the museums cellar, it went missing shortly after a research and sample request from GeoCorp R&D arrived to the buildings co-owners, Dr. Jones and Henry Grayson last week.
Mountain Island Historical Society co-owner Henry Greyson, has discovered clues, that will aid you in your search around Station 117 and the Lowlands.
